The top reports of the 2009 fiscal year: The nearly 60 visitors to the HGB SUMMERLOUNGE 2010 have conducted the first - non-representative - ranking of the current business reports, in which Aurubis, adidas and Deutsche Telekom placed first.

Besides the effects of the economic and financial crisis on company balance sheets, responsible corporate management and sustainable economic activities are the aspects dominating the current annual reports of German publicly-traded companies. Apparently, there has been a basic change in attitude within the companies. The Top 10 of the year under review 2008: in mid-June 2009, the HGB "summer Lounge" visitors, approximately 70 in number, compiled the very first - non-representative - ranking list for German annual reports for the year under review 2008. Air Berlin, ThyssenKrupp and Aurubis landed at the top of the list.

Trend report and results of survey on annual reports in times of economic crisis.

The economic and financial crisis has had no significant effect on the 2008 annual reports of German publicly-traded companies. On the contrary, the companies are optimistic and view the crisis mainly as an opportunity to make themselves fit for the future. The realisation that the report has never been more important is supported by the HGB survey on the current situation of the annual report.
